“I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become.” -Carl Jung
If you were ever told “we don’t talk about our problems” then you’re in the right place. Breaking the mental health stigma among cultures around the globe is a major drive for the work I do. From the teenager who feels silenced to discuss their anxiety in school, to the parent who is worried for their child’s behavior, to the woman who may not feel comfortable to talk about their infertility, this is the place for you. I invite you to come to a safe space where you can discuss what your feelings are, receive validation, feel heard, be provided with tools to utilize during challenging moments, and still allow room to grow over time. Talking about what troubles us is sometimes the biggest challenge one may come across. As a Latina woman, I am familiar with the fear of talking about what’s going on in my life and after years of being told problems are to remain private. I am looking forward to doing great work with you and breaking the mental health stigma one session at a time.
